Charles Vernon Stuart

Charles Vernon Stuart, 66, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Mercy-Health Lourdes in Paducah.

Charles was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Marine. He enjoyed his motorcycle, eating out with friends, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his mother, Charlene Stuart of Paducah; two children, Jason (Becky) Niehoff of West Paducah and Justin Stuart of Brookport; two sisters, Vivian Lynne Stuart of Symsonia and Elaine Marie Shumaker of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Shana, Ashitin, Cash, and Joylene.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lonnita Stuart; his father, James Leon Stuart Sr.; one brother, James Leon Stuart Jr.; and one sister, Leonia Stuart.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
