Seldon Gibbs

Hickory
Mr. Seldon Gibbs, age 82 of Hickory, Ky passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 12:50 PM at the Veterans Nursing Home in Marion, IL.
He was of the Baptist Faith, A retired Tire Builder at General Tire, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Gibbs is survived by his two daughters- Renee (Mark) Sullivan of Mayfield, Ky and Rhonda (Randy) Matheny of Cunningham, Ky; sister- Bonnie Burnett of Melber, Ky; brother- Wayne Gibbs of Hickory, Ky; five grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers- Calvin Gibbs and Clifton Gibbs; three sisters- Reda Ivey, Linda Ivey, and Janice Wilson; parents- Curtis & Virgie Atherton Gibbs.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 3:30 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Marshall Ivey officiating. Friends may call from 12-3 PM on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
Graveside Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #26.
